The Scholarship of Engagement for Politics was a three-year project which aimed to engage students of Politics and International Relations with the real world of politics through placement-learning opportunities.

The project developed and tested a variety of models for embedding placement learning within the formal curriculum of Politics and International Relations. Our research evaluated the impact and effectiveness of these models, offering other Politics departments the opportunity to promote and develop their own models of research-based placement learning.
For academics interested in introducing placement learning, we have templates from the Scholarship of Engagement for Politics, that were used throughout the project that you might find useful. Please note that these forms are for academic resources only. SOE Templates
